"How are you today?!" - not sure where this stupid "today" was added, usually asserting the cheerful tone even to early morning/late evening greetings.
I have been getting this pearl from the NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings:
"The City of New York and OATH are working diligently to process these award payment requests in a timely fashion. We thank you in advance for your anticipated understanding and patience as we process all award payments as quickly as possible."
Also, years after COVID had ended, I was forced to read this:
"During these challenging times, we ask for your continued patience as we work through voluminous correspondence with limited staff."
