Hantaï sounds brutal at times. I had the same feeling for Pierre-Laurent Aimard's The Art Of Fugue, which grew on me to become one of my favourites, although I'm not a fan of Bach performed on piano. F minor is the deepest amongst all other tonalities for me. Thank you.
